Under-Eye Light Filling

Under-Eye Light Filling

The under-eye light filling is the filling applied to patients who have mild bagging under the eye or lack of volume in these areas genetically and therefore have a gap between the under-eye and cheek line. Unlike all other fillings, it is the process that contains the thinnest and most special additional drugs. Since the area under the eye is sensitive, it is performed with a cannula's help, not a needle. This technique minimizes the trauma from the needle. The under-eye filling has a full effect within three weeks; oedema in the first days depends entirely on the region's anatomical characteristics.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is there a solution that I have undergone an under-eye filling, and I am not satisfied?

Sometimes the filling under the eye does not give the result expected by the patients; in some patients, the lymphatic drainage of that area becomes more obstructed after the procedure, and this causes it to be a more bagged and oedematous area under the eye. This condition can be solved easily with its special melter if it continues for three weeks, and this does not cause any deformation.

Do I have a flat under-eye area with an under-eye filling?

It is entirely impossible. The under-eye area cannot be flat; a better and more voluminous result is expected.

Will my eye bruise go away with the under-eye filling?

Bruises under the eye will be relatively reduced due to the lack of volume here, and bruises will be relatively reduced due to direct contact of the skin with the bone. However, this condition is mostly genetically dependent on skin pigmentation and blood flow–lymph flow of the region. Even with the filling, there may be no lightening in colour. The under-eye light filling is mainly applied for lack of volume under the eye and additional bruising treatment.

Why is it called light filling?

Fillers used in this region contain at least cross-linked hyaluronic acid and, depending on the companies’ product concepts, contain vitamins and trace elements that support skin quality. This name has been defined because these treatments support skin quality.
