This surgery takes between 1-2 hours.

You will stay 1 night in hospital after this surgery for control purposes. Especially the first 2 days also the 3rd and the 4th day you will got a lot of swelling around your eyes and also bruising. After 4-5 days you will get a little bit rid of the swelling and the swelling and bruising may change places like going down way or up. The firsrt 2 weeks it is normal that you got asymmetry and you might think that your eye shape looking too slanted or too much changed, but that is part of the healing and we are expecting this. After 2 weeks you will be ready to return to your social life easily.

There is no surgery which can be called permanent. But you can explain this surgery as a lifting of all the deep tissues and as changing their positions permanently. In all surgeries, the skin quality of the person, environmental factors, self-care, nutrition and especially genetics are very important. It can change from person to person. Every patient is healing different. And it is impossible to give you something like a guarantee for any kind of surgery that it will be permanent and staying the same your whole lifetime. After getting the movement of your eyebrows back and after starting again using your gestures there will be skin relaxation. You cannot prevent yourself from this. Therefore we are always lifting everything up to the maximum during the surgery even if a natural result is planned because we are calculating the fall, so we are taking it into account. Your surgery result will age with you with the time but its beautiful effects are expected to stay with you.

But if theres sagginess on the whole face especially in the lower part of your face then this surgery would not be a solution for you we would not suggest you this then.

Most of the cases we are doing midfacelift with temporal lift together. 2.5 cm incision made through the hair area in the temple area, 1 cm incision made above the upper teeth in the mouth, and all the tissues inbetween are released on the bone plane, All bands and collapses in the midface, lower eyelids and zygomatic region so cheeks are released and surgically especially upward and oblique stretching is provided. There wont be any incision on your lower eyelids or around your ears.

Of course. We would suggest this surgery especially to patients who got droppy and sagging cheeks caused by their genetics. It could be done fort hem easily and safely.

Out of its main purpose it is especially effecting your jawline, especially in case of patients with good skin quality who do not got too much sagginess we are reaching success. And in case of patients with significant huge lower part we are also suggesting buccal fat repositioning if its needed (not taking off) to get a more effective result.

A serious process awaits you after mid-face lift, the first 7 days after the surgery diet, serious oral care is required. Caused by the surgical technique there will be numbness on your upper lip and also around your nose. Pressure around the cheek in the first 2-3 days and also headache during the first week is expected. Especially patients with previously treated faces or filled faces will got much more swelling and bruising and it will take a long time to get rid of it. We want you to give us your first 2 weeks after your surgery and not to plan anything during that time. Intraoral and intra-hair sutures are absorbable, selt-melting. There is no taking out process, no need to take them out.

We are expecting especially during the first 2 weeks a lot of swelling and bruising , but this period also depends on the patients genetics and on environmental factors, so it can vary. To get rid of the swelling completly can take between 6-8 weeks.

No need to use any corset after the midfacelift surgery, there will be just some tapes on your cheeks and on your temporal area to avoid the swelling a little bit and for correcting.

Especially patients who DO NOT got really noticeable sagginess on the lower part of their face who are not suitable fort he deep plane facelift and just got sagginess on the neck area are suitable for the necklift surgery by itself. Mostly we are combinating this surgery with the temporal lift and midfacelift surgery.

Mostly the incisions are done under the chin and also around your earlobs means behind the ear folds. It is stated that there is no incision in front of the ear and the scars are planned on anatomical folds that can be preserved relatively better.

Especially the first 3-5 days in the neck area we are expecting a lot of swelling caused by the reconstruction. This can cause pressure and pain. After surgery we are expecting fast healing, after the first 7-10 days, due to the gravity effect of edema and muscle structures, tiny bumps and a second neck can be observed in the surgical area, this situation is completely temporary.

In case of deep plane facelift we are suggesting to wear the corset for the first 7-10 days.

This technique is highly preferred because not only the skin but also the skin tissue layer, which is the main cause of sagging, is completely released and stretched, more natural lines and not an overly tense appearance on the face that puts a strain on the skin. The aim is to get a more shaped jawline especially with the midface together and to get a more dynamic face structure. Since there is no excessive tension on the skin, the scars are very less visible.

The first 2 days we want you tos tay in our comfortable high quality hospital in our special rooms for being under control. During this first period you can take a first walk, you can go to the toilet easily and you can eat or drink by yourself. Especially during the first 3-5 days there will be feeling of tension on your face and also on your neck. In comparison to other facelift techniques we are expecting less swelling and less bleeding with our technique. Your first dressing in form of a wrap will be taken off right before leaving the hospital on your discharge day and we will put on some bants and also a light corset which you have to wear for the next 7 days. After discharge you can take a shower and you can wash your hair.

This surgery is risky especially for patients who are smoking or who smoked in their past for a long time , who got rheumatic diseases or hypertension, who got diabetes or bleeding disorder. In those cases there is more a high risk of getting complications. Most importantly, the evaluations should be made in more detail in those who have had permanent or non-permanent thread procedures, and who have done previously surgeries and those who have treated the face with heat-based or energy-based instruments.

In the real deep plane facelift surgery, although it varies according to the needs of the person, the scars are hidden in the ear folding points starting from the temple area, an incision is made behind the ear and planned on the hair-skin line behind the ear. Since it is made in tension in accordance with the natural folding lines, the scars will decrease over time. But in some cases some bodies there could be keloid problem or hypertrophic scars, depending on the patients genetics, how much sun the skin is getting, smoking or not and also depending on using to often make up. Those points are influencing the scar healing.

We are suggesting to you all creams which might help you for a better scar healing.

We are suggesting all of our deep plane facelift patients to go to the hyperbaric oxygen treatment center to get hyperbaric oxygen treatment for a fast healing after facial surgeries. After discharging we are suggesting to take at least one hour per day this treatment the next 5-7 days right after discharging of the hospital.

The first 3 days you will use a thick corset. After the 3rd day you will start using the light and thinner corset 4-8 hours in a day. On the 10th day you can stopp it no need to use the corset anymore.

In general, as before all surgeries, blood thinners should be discontinued three weeks in advance in consultation with the anesthesiologist; if there are additional diseases-allergies, etc., our anesthesiologist should be informed. Smoking cessation at least six weeks before surgery is essential for facelift surgery. This is the surgical procedure where smoking affects the surgical process and wound healing the most.

With age, the facial skin sags and accumulates in the jaw’s corners due to deformations or genetic factors. With the sliding membranes under the loose neck skin, the subcutaneous membrane and ligament structures are restored, and excess skin is removed with incisions made in the anterior and posterior ear and hairline. Rest at home is generally recommended for the first five days after facelift surgery; it is essential not to increase blood pressure and avoid external factors. Rest is generally recommended for the first three weeks, and you can return to social life after this process.

Unlike other surgeries, tissues’ adaptation takes longer in facial surgeries, so oedema and swelling are evident in the first month, but healing continues for 6-12 months. The skin, which is felt tense in the first postoperative period, relaxes slightly and is felt more comfortable after the first healing.

After surgery, smoking, all movements that will increase blood pressure, and unhealthy meals should be avoided. Significantly excessive massage, early exposure to heat will damage healing tissues. After facelift surgery, it is essential to combine post-healing skin healing procedures. Especially in the high oxygen environment, keeping the head high and less salty diets are recommended for recovery.

There are two of the 0.5 cm scars in the midline.

First 6-8 weeks all of your forehead muscles wont work. There could be seen some asmmetry during that time caused by some earlier working muscles. You can feel for a while some kind of numbness on your forehead area or on the hairy skin in the midline. This is just temporary.

In the first period, the brows  going to seem like they were too much lifted. This situation will get back to a more natural look when the muscles start to work, it may take 3-4 weeks.

You will be followed with bants for the first 7 days, then there may be irregularities, shrinkage in the skin. It is completly temporary. The final result will be achieved within 8-12 weeks.

The temporal lift could be done with this surgery together and if its wanted the midfacelift could be added also.

If you want to get a more longlasting browlift result and if you want also to make your eyes more noticeable and if we think that you are suitable for that (during the face to face consultation we will see) then we can add also from the same incisions using micromotos to smoothen your eye walls from under the bone membrane. That is not something like breaking bones. This is completly safe and not a big thing (little intervention).
